AWOL

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth; I visited my parents and friends for a week. Mom's laptop is great, but their mountain internet connection was so slow I barely checked my email. We had blogdaddy over for dinner Monday night, along with a few other friends, so we had a full table and a great meal. RSM was soooooooooooo skinny I almost cried when I hugged him. He didn't have anything extra to lose before he went to basic!
The reunion was a flop; only a few people showed up, never mind the fact that I couldn't find the pub in the first place. I haven't driven around downtown Atlanta in traffic at night for years and lost myself. When I found I-85 again, I just gave up and went home. I did get to see the friend I really wanted to see, though. We went to dinner on Tuesday.
I'm sorry to say I'm having trouble concentrating on The Fountainhead. I'm just not falling into it like I did Anthem. I've had that problem with pretty much all the books I've tried to read over the past few weeks. I haven't finished even one. Pitiful. Just can't concentrate. Guess that's why I've been sparse with decent posts lately.
