So the moving is done, but now everything has to be put away... somewhere. It's still a mess, but slowly getting organized. We had to buy another bookcase for his, since mine's already full. He filled that one up too. Our books are separate, but our DVDs are all mixed up now. I like it that way.
I'm still desperately trying to find a job. Everywhere I've gone has simply referred me to their website to submit an online application. Whatever happened to the manager coming out to speak with an applicant, to shake hands and visually size the person up? I like making an impression that way. I've only once been hired from the internet, and that was the seasonal job with Brown. None of these places would even take my resume! I feel old-fashioned, left behind by the times.
